WELCOME TO Osaka

Osaka prefecture is the center of West Japan, with the second largest GDP and population, only 2.5 hours from Tokyo by bullet train.
Osaka has always performed important roles in Japanese history: it was a key traffic point in ancient era (3rd to 7th century). In the 16th century, Osaka became a political center under Toyotomi Hideyoshi. In the Edo period (17th to 19th century), Osaka was a commercial and logistic center. Osaka kept its status as a center of culture, art and industry until the beginning of the 1920’s.
Osaka holds Kansai International Airport (KIX) as a hub of LCC and is rich in cultural heritage and attractions. Osaka has a notable advantage in attracting foreign tourists. There is also a Casino
